Robyn Rihanna Rihanna is the Barbadian Singer-Songwriter whose hits included Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella, as well as Take a Bow. She's a hugely popular artist, who has sold over 41 million albums around the world as well as more than 150 million tracks. Born in Barbados and was raised in the reggae scene. As she started to sing, she became professional. As a way to get away from the tensions within her family and also her parents' constant fights and arguments, she began to sing. At the age of 16 she joined a group of musicians and was able to meet producer Evan Rodgers. He was impressed with her talent. Rihanna was then moved from the city of her birth to New York to start a career in singing full time. Rihanna became a huge hit when her debut album hit the shelves. She was a favorite amongst young people due to her lively and foot-tapping songs. It led to her taking up directing. Being a gifted young lady Rihanna is regarded as an aspiring teenage star. Rihanna makes use of her fame to do good and actively supports several charities.
